The Odyssey, The Great Bow
A sleepless night, a contest nobody can win, a locked door, and the day the house is finally emptied of its guests.
Retold for sleep from The Odyssey by Homer, from a public-domain English translation long out of copyright. The story is Homer's; every sentence here is our own.
